Important notice from the Bunbury Cemetery Board

Prescribed Burning

The Bunbury Cemetery Board and DFES have identified high fire fuel loads in bushland within the boundary of the Bunbury Cemetery.

In order to reduce the fire risk to residents and the community, a prescribed burn is scheduled in this bushland for autumn this year. The actual day of the burn is not yet confirmed, as it will be subject to many weather conditions. If not appropriate, it may not occur at all.
